AI & Data Engineer in Berlin (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated AI & Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join our innovative,
small team at Versio.io.
In this position, you will work in an exciting, international product and project
environment. Your work will focus on building and developing a central data pipeline
through which we aggregate and process essential information about software and hardware
products. If you enjoy working at the interface between data management and modern
software development and making complex data streams usable with the help of AI, then
you've come to the right place!
- Pipeline development -
Design, development and maintenance of a robust data pipeline for deriving and maintaining
characteristics for software and hardware products (including release/version, maintenance,
support, LTS).
- Data integration -
Connection and aggregation of public vulnerability descriptions from a wide variety
of sources and integration of benchmark tests.
- Technology use -
Use of our modern technological base (Linux, Node.js, XML/JSON, SQL) to automate and
scale data processes.
- AI integration -
Evaluation and implementation of AI models for the intelligent structuring, classification
and analysis of the collected product data.
- Optimisation -
Continuous improvement of the performance of existing data architectures and ensuring
data quality and security standards.
- Teamwork -
Close, agile collaboration in our small, powerful team for the continuous development
of our international product.
- Education -
Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification or
practical experience.
- Technology stack -
Sound programming skills, ideally strong in Node.js, as well as confident handling
of structured data formats (XML, JSON).
- Databases & OS -
Very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases as well as confidence working
in a Linux environment (including shell scripting/Bash).
- Artificial intelligence -
Keen interest and, ideally, initial practical experience in the use of AI technologies
in the context of data processing.
- Mindset -
Analytical skills, a strong understanding of complex data structures and an independent,
solution-oriented approach to work.
- Communication -
Team player mentality for our innovative working environment and good written and
spoken English skills (for our international context).
