SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a communication protocol used for monitoring and managing network devices. It allows network administrators to collect information, modify device configurations, and receive alerts about network issues.

With the Versio.io SNMP importer, you can inventory a collection of freely configurable information attributes of a network device and save them in Versio.io. The following network devices can be inventoried with the Versio.io SNMP Importer:

Routers - Routers from various manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.
Switches - Switches from manufacturers like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.
Firewalls - Firewalls from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
Servers - Server operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux (with appropriate software support)
Printers - Network printers from various manufacturers such as HP, Canon, Epson, etc.
Wireless Access Points (WAPs) - Devices from manufacturers like Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, etc.

Any network device that supports SNMP can be inventoried using the Versio.io SNMP Importer. The Versio.io SNMP Importer configuration can be customised to individual attributes (SNMP OIDs) and customer-specific requirements.
