What is Confluence?

Automate product release and end-of-life managementConfluence is a web-based corporate wiki developed by Australian software company Atlassian.[4] Atlassian wrote Confluence in the Java programming language and first published it in 2004. Confluence Standalone comes with a built-in Tomcat web server and hsql database, and also supports other databases.

What is the Confluence release strategy?

Atlassian supports feature versions for two years after the first major iteration of that version was released (for example, we support Jira Core 7.2.x for 2 years after Jira 7.2.0 was released).
