Fully automated and continuous inventory of your endpoint devices and software assets
Versio.io agents can continuously and fully automatically inventory all endpoint devices. This means that the current status of the device and its complete change history are always available in the Asset & Configuration Item Inventory (CMDB).
What customers typically inventory with Versio.io in the endpoint device environment:
- Endpoint device - Hardware and operating system properties
- Vendor warranty - Warranty information on the device hardware, if the vendor support it via API
- Installed Software - Any software installed on the operating system of the device, including system components and drivers
Verify whether you are using or have installed outdated or insecure software

Verify whether you are using or have installed outdated or insecure software
Versio.io provides users with all the detailed information so that they can better understand the evaluation of the product version used in terms of lifecycle and security.
This includes the lifecycle and security strategy and the deep links to the version-dependent product and CVE content in the corresponding repositories. Last but not least, there is an action recommendation with which you can re-establish IT governance compliance.
Easy recording and monitoring of the manufacturer's warranty for all endpoint devices

Easy recording and monitoring of the manufacturer's warranty for all endpoint devices
As part of the inventory, Versio.io also records the corresponding manufacturer's warranty for the device if the manufacturer offers a corresponding API. We currently support Dell, Intel and Lenovo. Why is this important for you?
- Ensuring warranty entitlement - Recording and verifying the manufacturer's warranty makes it possible to ensure that claims for free repair or replacement can be made in the event of a defect or problem.
- Cost savings - Utilising the manufacturer's warranty can avoid significant repair or replacement costs that would otherwise be incurred by the user or company.
- Maintenance planning - Knowing the warranty period helps to plan maintenance work and submit warranty claims in good time before the warranty period expires.
- Avoiding downtime - Quick and effective use of the manufacturer's warranty can minimise equipment downtime, which is especially important in business environments to maintain productivity.
- Documentation and tracking - Capturing warranty information helps to better document and track device uptime, which in turn facilitates IT asset management and long-term planning.
Automatic inventory of monitors and screens

Automatic inventory of monitors and screens
Versio.io uses OneImporter to automatically detect and integrate screens and televisions connected to a host into the CMDB based on their EDID data (serial number, model and manufacturer). Particular focus is placed on automatically creating a topology that links the monitor to the last connected host computer.
This context-sensitive display allows IT departments to easily track hardware assignments and provides insight into the actual use of screens and monitors. Furthermore, warranty information from Dell and Lenovo is also available directly in Versio.io.
Reporting

Reporting
Endpoint management reporting provides a clear overview of the status and performance of all desktop devices, allowing administrators to make informed decisions.
Reporting also provides valuable data that can be used to improve IT support processes by identifying recurring problems and developing long-term solutions. Detailed reporting ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements by documenting all processes and changes.
Quick response code support (QR code)

Quick response code support (QR code)
QR codes provide a secure method of authentication and enable access to various resources, simplifying login processes. They quickly transfer information, such as product details or instructions, making it easier to access important data.
IT administrators use QR codes for automation and configuration, which makes setting up systems more efficient. QR codes also support inventory and asset management by making it easier to track hardware and software. Overall, QR codes help to improve efficiency and reduce errors in desktop management.
