What is Windows 10?

Microsoft Windows 10 is an operating system from the US company Microsoft, which was released on 29 July 2015. It is the successor to Windows 8.1 and was first introduced in parallel with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, the successor to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, on 30 September 2014.

What is the Windows 10 release strategy?

New versions of Windows 10 (also called feature updates) will be released twice a year for Windows 10 via the Semi-Annual Channel. Customers should always install the latest version before the current version reaches end of servicing to remain supported by Microsoft.
