Unified and centralised processing of IT, OT/IoT and third-party events

The Versio.io event management enable you to centrally record and analyse business relevant technical events from the IT landscape, OT/IoT devices in production or other third-party applications. Events are automatically correlated with existing asset & configuration items from the inventory (CMDB) and their protection requirements are used to evaluate the events.

The following event protocol integrations are available to centralise all technical enterprise events:

SNMP Traps - Events from network devices
Syslog - Events based on log messages from hosts and networks
OPC UA - Events from OT/IoT devices
MQTT - Events from OT/IoT devices
Generic - Events from any third-party systems like Dynatrace, Qualys and Versio.io itself

The centralised recording of business-relevant events makes it possible to efficiently control extensive IT landscapes and manufacturer production facilities.

Detailed information about the event in order to be able to analyse it better

To analyse the event, it is important that all detailed information is available. Versio.io offers a visualisation by means of the event root cause. This allows users to easily understand who triggered the event, which protocol and gateway was used to record the event, how the event is assessed (severity, classification PR index) including categorisation in the risk matrix and, of course, the specific event message.

Versio.io also links directly to the configuration item if it exists in the CMDB inventory.
